House Rules is a video work and a sound piece compiled from previously conducted group breathing exercises. House Rules imagines an online environment where excessive personal and intimate data sharing is taking place with the explicit consent of all participating members. Individuals seemingly blend together in the midst of steam, smoke, vapor, dampness and darkness. Their synchronized movement and rhythm is amplified by the group state.
Among the members, total openness prevails, yet individual identities remain hidden from the outside. House Rules accepts the impossibility to escape the network. Embracing our inevitable interconnectedness, it is a seductive invitation to join a shared database that brings the benefit of greater access to knowledge. The only way forward is to act as one.

Neo-M is a multi-channel video and sound installation arranged as a moshpit with seven surrounding screens. The work deconstructs masculinity by exaggerating stereotypes and re-appropriating popular culture. Placing the viewer in a central position, the work not only stretches the limits of what the body can express, but also what the viewer is prepared to accept. The male body as a construct is perceived as a surface for intervention.
It acts as a flexible membrane onto which notions of masculine identity are projected and reinterpreted. The visual language of gender norms is transformed into a liquefied and accelerated version of reality. As a tangible carrier of identity the body becomes a fictionalized manifestation of the liberated self. A new hyper aesthetic, spiraling out of control.
The Shelter is an object designed to claim back our freedom and autonomy. This poncho can be turned into a tent. Carrying your house on your back, like a snail you are slow, but so is social change. Let’s explore, let’s invade our common earth: your home is everywhere. Let’s break borders and build our own freedom.

Refusing to comply with systems of mass consumption, Juliette Lizotte stopped going to the supermarket. She questions the food industry, as well as our individual responsibility for how we produce and consume. Changing the rules of her game, Juliette now obtains food directly at its source. Like a monk she commits herself to her new habits. Liberated from fictitious needs, and inspired by the natural food she eats and her taste for ‘Nightcore’, Juliette dreams of another world. One in which self-sufficiency is the new salvation, a privileged state to deal with guilt and rethink our needs on the path to asceticism.
A Triptych Fantasy on Local Food invites you on a singular audiovisual trip through Juliette's hopes and dreams, taking pop culture to the extreme: high pitch, high bpm and high amateurism. Each chapter of this journey gives an odd teenage feeling of a new-found hope in a world gone terribly wrong, making you want to join the movement or run away as fast as you can.

Visitors, who connected to the free wi-fi in the exhibition, received a welcome sms to different countries, that notify them about the data retention laws.
Nowadays, instead of passports our cellphones identify us. The border controls are cellphone towers picking up our signal and sending an SMS welcoming us to the country. Most of the time we receive these messages before or after its geographical border. When connecting to the network, all our data is under a law of a country without us being physically there. Our data may be sensitive. The phone can be our weapon against wrongdoings. And it can be suddenly turned against us.
