Pooch Portrait
A 45 minute portrait session for your pooch. The aim here is to come up with several good shots so you can choose one or two for memorable artwork or mementos. I'll take lots of photos and cull them down to a set of four to eight proofs for you to select from. You get an A4 proof sheet to keep, plus a couple of 7.5" x 5" prints as part of this package, plus an artwork selection session where you can choose larger canvasses, prints or some creative printed gifts.

Portrait Plus
A 90 minute portrait session for your pooch, plus some fun at your home or the park. The aim is to generate a dozen or so really good shots so you can choose as many of them as you like for multiple, memorable artworks or mementos (see Artwork Session). I'll take lots of photos and cull them down to a set of proofs for you to select from. You get an A4 proof sheet to keep, plus six 7.5" x 5" prints as part of this package, plus an artwork selection session where you can choose larger canvasses, prints or some creative printed gifts.

Doggy Diary
You plan upto 4 hours of a day with me first, and we can shoot in my mobile studio and at multiple locations of your choosing. We invest a lot of time and effort in the photo shoot and lots of careful effort in the post-processing so you get wonderful creative artwork options to choose from. You get A4 proof sheets to keep, plus up to twelve 7.5" x 5" prints as part of this package. The Doggy Diary artwork selection session is an exciting and memorable time as you look over the treated artwork and consider the host of possibilities for larger canvasses, card backed prints, large format photos and creative printed gifts. This package is the ultimate way to capturing and preserve wonderful, lasting memories of your pets!

It's really important to us that our clients get to relax and enjoy choosing their artwork. After all, you're going to have to for a long time! That's one big reason we don't rush things at the photography session and push you into buying. You need time after enjoying the shoot to savour the experience and look forward to the artwork selection session because you'll be more comfortable and make better decisions if you do.

Somewhere relaxing to choose
Your artwork selection session can take place in the comfort of your own home*, or somewhere mutually convenient. I do find though that being in the comfort of your own home is comfortable and relaxing, and a good place to make choices you'll be really pleased with.

Options For Artwork
Options for artwork include quality photographs, art prints on various media, canvas prints, acrylic prints and metal printing. Artwork quality is top notch, and I have managed to keep the pricing moderate.

Whilst hand held prints are supplied as shot, larger formats really open the way for artistic interpretation, whether from the time of shooting or during editing. So to provide all pricing for artwork here is a bit job, and probably confusing for you! Add to that, I can't tell you exactly what you'll end up with because it's all part of the creative journey that provides you with quality photography based artwork for your home!

Discounts on Artwork Pricing
What I can do here on the web site is give a few indicative prices though that establish the reasonable price for high quality artwork, and of course you'll get to see samples of the various art media when we meet. I offer a graduated discount as well.

Options for artwork include quality photographs, art prints on various media, canvas prints, acrylic prints and metal printing. The quality of the media used for the artwork is top notch, and supports high quality photographic art very well both in terms of appearance and longevity.

Our photographs are printed by one of Brisbane's premier professional photo labs. Canvases up to 600mm on the short edge are printed by Four Foot Fotos on our Epson Stylus Pro 7880 broad media printer. Canvases over this size are printed by a specialist canvas printer it took us months to find; and other media like metallic media is normally done by the pro lab we use for our photographs. We don't cut corners because we want your artwork to last; and in another ten years time when you and your pets are older, we want to see you again if we haven't already in the interim. Our aim is to be proud of our work so you can be proud of the photographic art in your home.

Quality photographs

Available in sizes from hand-held to 20 x 40 inch. I often carry samples of 30" by 20" art, as these are a popular size that fits 'as shot' dimensions from most professional DSLR cameras.

Art Prints

These which use Epson 11880 Large Format 60" Inkjet printer and archival inks.

- Premium Lustre and Gloss (Epson 260gsm), which is similar to photographic lustre and gloss paper.

- Enhanced Matte (Epson 190gsm), which is a matte stock much like paper, but thicker

- Rag Photographique (Canson 310gsm), which is a cotton-based, flat and completely non-reflective stock. It has a 'higher white point' (brighter) than the above stocks.

- Aquarelle Rag (Canson 240gsm), which is a cotton based stock with a water colour texture. Non-reflective and also with a higher white point.

Canvas Prints

Beautiful latex (archival quality) ink on high quality canvas. You get to choose which canvas you like, the regular canvas or a high texture canvas. You will be really taken by the beauty of these canvases. They are so good, I go out of my way from our regular supplier to a canvas printing specialist to get them.

We go the extra mile for you with our mobile pet photography studio! You don't have to travel, causing stress for you and your pet, and giving a more relaxed and natural photography session at your home where you are intimately involved in the photo session with your pet
We use top quality Australian suppliers for all our photographs and canvases
Ink on canvases is genuine ink meant for the printer used. For ours that means Epson in our Epson Stylus Pro 7880. Good ink and good media means great quality and lasting value. Your photographic art can thus become an heirloom.
We spend time with you before the shoot to socialise with you and your pet(s), with the aim of making the session as relaxed and creative as possible.
We have toys and accessories like sunglasses and doggy jackets so we can have a bit of fun too!
After the shoot, we spend more time than the shoot (on average) 'developing' the RAW photographs and turning them into photographic art.
We come to the Artwork Selection Session with the best shots treated as photographic art so you have really special art to choose from
We sit with you and explain all the options for your art selection, including photographic art canvases and beautiful photographs on a number of media which we'll have samples for. We also have a range of gifts that can be customised with pictures of your precious pets :-)
