The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy depicts power as "incomparable authority inside a domain" and "a cutting edge thought of political position." Kings, heads and governments in free nations are sovereign, for example. It's occasionally said that individuals are sovereign in vote based systems since they are the wellspring of all political force and the state's power at last comes from its general population.
